My Candy Corn Wreath and Porch Ideas...

Candy corns line the grocery stores this time of year.  And for some (ok...most) they are a true temptation.  So you can imagine the struggle I had when I decided to make this and not eat all the candy corns before I got them glued onto the Styrofoam wreath.  I did really good, it was my kids and husband who couldn't keep their hands off them :) btw I saw this adorable wreath idea last year in (I believe) a Woman's Day magazine!

It was really fun to make and super easy.  I bought one of the white Styrofoam wreaths from Roberts.  Then I spray painted it with brown spray paint.  Then my kids and I started gluing the candy corns on in the pattern that you see in the photo above.  This was super easy and way fun to do with kids.  When we were done gluing I sprayed it really good with a clear glossy top coat. I found a brown ribbon in my ribbon stash and attached it. Here it is on my door!

And the rest of my porch...

Time for the summer flowers to RIP
My neighbors made this adorable ghost out of a Mason Jar and gave it to us.

Halloween is almost here and my kids are counting down the days! We are enjoying this time of year and bracing ourselves for the snow which is soon to come. Time to get out the winter bin and see what winter clothes my kids have grown out of :)

p.s. If you haven't entered my thinkThin Protein bar giveaway you can do so here  The giveaway ends on Wednesday, November 2nd
p.p.s  Have you heard of the #plankaday challenge?  If you are a Twitter lover search the tag #plankaday and join the movement!
