The Great Outdoors...

Cory and I went snowshoeing a couple of weeks ago. We went with some friends of ours and had such a great time! It has been quite awhile since we have gone, and it was so refreshing to be outdoors again! We also packed a sled, so after our ascents, we would hop on the sled and take a ride down. It was a blast, I can't believe I haven't ever packed a sled with me before!

Don't you love aspen tree's? We hiked up to this little, quite, grove of aspen's that was soo picturesque. The snow was untouched and it was just beautiful!

Black and Whites are the way to photo aspen's.

Last weekend, I went up to Ogden and did a three full day certification, to become a Personal Trainer. It was way intense but a lot of fun. While I was up there, I saw a guy on the side of the road, who had the coolest green mohawk that I have ever seen. Oh don't worry I totally took a picture with my friends camera, and she is emailing it over today. I will post it as soon as I get it!! Check back!

Oh and Happy Valentine's Day. Ya know, I have heard people complain about this day, saying things such as "why do I need special day to remember my spouse? I tell him/her I love her everyday, what is one more day?"

To those who think similarly my thought's are this;

To me it is a fabulous opportunity to spend precious time together. It is a day when it is perfectly acceptable and expected, to be unusually romantic and actually make a statement to your significant other. A statement of; I Love you forever without condition, and you are the one for me. No one else can fill your shoes, no one else fills me up the way you do, and on Valentine's Day we get to celebrate all of the hard work that we spend everyday to make this relationship work.

So I may embarrass my husband a little, but on a past Valentine's Day, I walked into our house and all over the walls I saw these little pink hearts stuck everywhere. As I looked closer on every heart he had personally written a reason that he loves me. Then on the floor there was a trail of roses leading up to my favorite dinner (gardenburger with yummy fries). What a guy!

So right now, stop and get creative and start thinking of something special you can do to suprise your lover! Even if you read this after Valentine's Day, get out of your box and do something special!

What a stud Cory is. Who would have thought? Trace made me a candlelight dinner for Valentines Day... these boys really can be romantic if they try hard enough!! I love the snowshoe pictures. Trace took me once and I want to go again!
